We can moderate, thread, bed and zero anything on this list before you collect it, and we hold a good range of the ammunition to go with them.

Firearms certificates and slot conditions

A rifle can only be transferred against a firearms certificate with a matching slot open for that calibre and a suitable good reason. Check your conditions before you travel: a slot for .243 will not cover a 6.5 Creedmoor. If the calibre you want is not on your ticket we will happily help you word a variation and, where it helps, provide a supporting letter about the rifle.

We complete the transfer, enter it in the register and notify your licensing department for you. Moderators are separately conditioned — bring your certificate and we will confirm whether you have a slot for one before you order.

Set up ready to stalk

Most stalkers want a rifle handed over ready to use, not in a box. We fit scopes and mounts, thread muzzles, bed actions and take every rifle we sell to the range for a zero at 100 yards, then hand you the group. That work is quoted openly and shown on the invoice.

Second-hand rifles are checked for bore condition, crown, throat wear and headspace before they go on the list, and our dealer notes say honestly what we found. If a barrel is tired, we say so and price it accordingly.
